Welcome to my first June E-Update!
Weeks of May 30th and June 6th
Laying Flags at cemetery in advance of Memorial Day
These past two weeks have been busy! Here is a brief legislative update on what we have been working on in the capitol:
  1. A bi-partisan bill I was happy to author got a public hearing and was passed out of committee this week. Its' goal is to allow certain retailers, which are largely in rural areas, to host pet vaccination drives and other functions in conjunction with local humane societies.
  2. I was proud to co-author and support return-to-work legislation that passed the Assembly on Wednesday. You can read more about it here.
  3. We also passed a resolution honoring Barry Alvarez, the longtime Athletic Director, coach, and mentor at the University of Wisconsin - Madison.

I also had the privilege of joining folks at the Neenah-Menasha Memorial Day Parade, the Memorial Day Ceremony at Oakhill Cemetery, the Wisconsin Chiefs of Police Association, and Badger State Sheriffs!
