Welcome to my first September E-Update!
Weeks of September 10th and 17th

While the State Legislature is starting to gear up to reconvene at the end of the month, I want to provide brief legislative update on what we have been working on:
  1. Yesterday, the Committee on Education held a public hearing in which my authored bill was deliberated by my colleagues and various advocate organizations. Read the bill here!
  2. Additionally, I have been meeting with various constituents and local health advocates on how to best confront mental health, and to ensure the people who need resources will have those opportunities.

This past Tuesday, I was extremely honored to be a part of such a great event, for an even greater cause. Having the opportunity to talk and converse with some of our most beloved community members. This is something that always makes my day.

This session, I am serving on the following committees. Click on the links to view committee activity!

Mental Health

Colleges and Universities

Public Benefit Reform

Regulatory Licensing Reform

I'm looking forward to continuing my work on each of these with many of my colleagues.
