On Tuesday, I joined Superintendent Carolyn Stanford Taylor to discuss the state of K-12 education. We are working to ensure that every student in Wisconsin has access to the best education possible.

Cursive Bill Updates

I had the pleasure of doing an interview with Victor Jacobo of CBS 58 about the importance of teaching cursive in our schools. Several studies show that youth benefit tremendously when they can read and write in cursive. Already garnishing a lot of bipartisan support, I look forward to the progress of the cursive bill in the Committee on State Affairs. It has a public hearing scheduled next week Wednesday. If you would like to testify on the bill, please let our office know!
