WI Flag Donation to FdL Police

I enjoyed visiting the Fond du Lac Police Department to donate a Wisconsin flag.

If you are a constituent and would like a Wisconsin flag or an American flag (to purchase or for donation), feel free to call or email my office. I'll be happy to send one to you!

Coronavirus Update

This week the Wisconsin Department of Health Services held a briefing on COVID-19 (Coronavirus) at the Capitol. It was stressed that Wisconsin does NOT have a public health emergency. There has only been one confirmed case of the virus in Wisconsin, who has already fully recovered. Therefore, let's continue to be smart and cautious in our decision-making. The Department of Health Services stressed that there is no reason to overreact, that Wisconsin is in a healthy state, and we do not want to cause unnecessary stress in the public.

What can you do? Below are a couple of links that may interest you on how to be safe. The best way to stay safe is to wash your hands WITH SOAP, maintain a cleanly hygiene, and keep stock of hand sanitizer (hopefully you are able to find some with it being in high demand).

Census Update

Keep an eye on your mail as we approach mid-March (12-20). Households will begin to receive official Census Bureau mail with detailed information on how to respond via online, phone, or mail.

In addition, the Census Bureau still needs to hire part-time and full-time field workers. This link is where you can fill out an application. This next link provides pay-rates for census takers, broken down by county. $18 an hour in Fond du Lac is some good money!

Daylight Savings Time

Daylight savings time falls on March 8th, in which Wisconsinites should set their clocks forward an hour heading into Sunday. For some of us, an hour of sleep may unfortunately be lost. On the bright side, we are able to enjoy the beautiful sun longer into the evening!
