Always Here to Help

JT Phone.jpg

These are tough times for everyone in the state and across the country. A number of you have contacted the 52nd District office with questions and concerns about the 2020 Spring Election, unemployment, what is an "essential business," and much more. Despite the Capitol being closed, the 52nd District staff and I are able to work remotely from our homes. We are working diligently to respond to your communications during these difficult times. If you have any questions or need assistance, please call the office (608-266-3156) and leave a voice message, or email Rep.Thiesfeldt@legis.wisconsin.gov. The 52nd District office staff and I will respond promptly to your inquiry.

Spring Election Updates

The Spring Election will be on Tuesday, April 7th. As I have posted on social media and in previous E-updates, I encourage you to vote absentee. You still have until 5pm today to request one from your municipal clerk (a federal judge moved the deadline from Thursday to today). Please visit myvote.wi.gov to request a ballot, check on the location of your polling place if you are voting in person, or to see what is on your ballot.

Flashback Brewers and Bucks Games

If you are like me, you are greatly missing watching all matters of sports in person or on television. I would like to thank Fox Sports Wisconsin and 620 WTMJ for attempting to fill that void in our lives by showing reruns of historic Bucks and Brewers games. Below is a list of those games available for your viewing. If possible, I hope you will take advantage of the opportunity to view these historical Wisconsin sports events until we can return to normal programming.

Census Updates

The decennial US Census is here! Fill out your form, which for the first time can be done online, and make sure you and your household are counted! Please watch the legislature's message here. Wisconsin ranked #1 in responses in the 2010 Census - congrats! Filling out the survey and returning it on time will help maintain our state's top standing and will reduce the need for door-to-door visits to non-responsive households by census workers. Let's keep up the great work, Wisconsin!
