Clean Water Month

With August starting, it is officially Clean Water Month! Water that is both clean and dependable is critical to ensure a high quality of life and maintain a strong Wisconsin economy. Groundwater is very important since it is the primary source of water for many residents and industries in Fond du Lac County. To better assess and improve the quality of both ground water and surface water in Wisconsin, the Speaker's Task Force on Water Quality has been created to gather quality information around the state and make policy recommendations through many thorough meetings and research projects.
