Thank you to David for the last ten years he has served as Executive Director and all he has done for the organization and our community. Deaf Interpreter Bill

I am proud to announce that AB 250, which supports and protects the deaf and interpreter communities of our state, provides for a more appropriate scope of practice for sign language interpreters in the state, and helps attract new and retain current sign language interpreters by increasing access to sign language interpreter licensure exams in Wisconsin, was signed into law by Governor Evers on Wednesday. I am honored to have proposed this bill to protect the deaf and interpreter communities in Wisconsin and to have been part of the bipartisan process to have it signed into law.
