Rep. Novak Fights for SeniorCare
Madison… State Representative Todd Novak (R-Dodgeville) issued the following statement regarding his support for preserving SeniorCare:
“I have been contacted by many constituents who are concerned about the Governor’s proposed budget. The budget covers a large range of subjects and issues; the proposed cuts to long term care and aging care programs is an issue that many are apprehensive about. “
“Recently, I authored a letter to the Co-Chair of the Joint Finance Committee, Representative John Nygren. The letter conveyed my strong support for SeniorCare. I expressed how the proposed changes to SeniorCare, is specifically troubling to the senior residents of my district who are enrolled in the program. SeniorCare is an important program that ensures the elderly are able to afford the medications they need, even those that aren’t covered under Medicare. I am pleased with Representative Nygren’s announcement that he and fellow colleagues on the Joint Finance Committee intend to support SeniorCare.”
“On behalf of my constituents and seniors across the state, I intend to fight to Preserve and Save SeniorCare. It is a vital program that benefits our seniors by keeping prescriptions affordable.”
Rep. Novak’s office is located at 304 North in the Wisconsin State Capitol. He can be contacted by phone at (608) 266-7502 or by e-mail at Rep.Novak@legis.wisconsin.gov.
Representative Novak serves the 51st Assembly District, which includes parts of Green, Iowa, Lafayette, Richland, and Sauk Counties.
