 Rep. Novak Appointed to Task Force on Alzheimer’s and Dementia

MADISON – Rep. Todd Novak (Dodgeville) issued the following statement after being appointed to serve on the bi-partisan Speaker’s Task Force on Alzheimer’s and Dementia.  Created by Assembly Speaker Robin Vos, the task force will collaborate on and explore policy recommendations, raise awareness, and ensure future quality of care for those affected.

“I’m honored to have been assigned to the Task Force on Alzheimer’s and Dementia, for several years, I have been a court appointed guardian for the elderly in Iowa County.  I’m proud to have the opportunity to bring awareness to this important issue.  These diseases impact the citizens of Wisconsin every day, affecting friends, and family.  I look forward to working alongside my legislative colleagues to improve care for those suffering as well as those caring for them.”
