Foster Care Task Force Takes Shape

On Wednesday, I sat down with Co-Chair of the Bipartisan Assembly Task Force on Foster Care Rep. Pat Snyder to lay the groundwork for our six listening sessions around the state. I can't wait to get started.

Thank you for your Service, Tom

Last week, I had the honor to present a citation to Village of Linden President Tom Faull. Senator Howard Marklein, Governor Walker, and I presented the citation to recognize Tom's dedication, service and philanthropy to the Village of Linden.

Beginning in 1966, Tom has served as a village trustee and was elected village president in 1989. He has also served in other capacities including as a volunteer firefighter, first responder, and a member of the Linden American Legion.

During his tenure, Tom has led multiple village improvement efforts including a new village hall, fire station, and a new well and water main. His leadership has also contributed to the creation of the Seniors for Nutrition Program and Community Development Housing for low income families.

For those of you that live in and around Linden, you may know Tom and his wife Joan for their help in hosting the famous American Legion chicken barbecue each year at the Linden Frolic Days.

Tom is an amazing individual who has worked each and every day to better the community he lives in. Thank you for all that you do.
