Impressive Advanced Placement Test Results

Wisconsin students are once again outpacing the rest of the nation. High school graduates had great results in the Advanced Placement program this past year. About 23,000 students took an AP exam and participation in Advanced Placement classes has increased by more than 1,000 graduates - outperforming the nation. DPI estimates the AP exams save students nearly $43 million in college costs.

Committee on Agriculture Hearing

As Vice-Chairman on the Assembly Committee on Agriculture, I participated in a joint informational hearing to discuss and learn more about the dairy market crisis production issues affecting the people of Wisconsin. The groups that spoke at the hearing included the Center for Dairy Research, the Wisconsin Cheesemakers, the Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin, and UW Extension of Agriculture and Applied Economics. Thank you to everyone who took the time to share your expertise with the committee.
