Tranel Officially Sworn In

MADISON, WI – State Representative Travis Tranel (R-Cuba City) was officially sworn in to office on Monday, January 3, 2011 during the opening of the 2011-12 legislative session in Madison. State Supreme Court Justice David Prosser administered the oath of office.
 
“I am very humbled and honored to have the privilege of serving the citizens of the 49th district and I look forward to working on their behalf to make southwestern Wisconsin a better place. Getting our state’s economy growing and creating jobs is going to be my top priority over the next two years,” said Tranel.
 
Tranel has been named Vice-Chairman of the Assembly Agricultural Committee and will also serve on the Financial Institutions and Insurance Committees. The 49th Assembly District includes all of Grant County and parts of Richland, Iowa, and Lafayette Counties.
