Tranel Officially Sworn in for 2nd Term

MADISON, WI – State Representative Travis Tranel (R-Cuba City) was officially sworn in to office for a second term on Monday, January 7, 2013 during the opening of the 2013-14 legislative session.  State Supreme Court Justice David Prosser administered the oath of office.
 
“It is truly an honor and privilege to represent the hard working citizens of the 49th Assembly District,” said Tranel.  “I am going to continue to work to promote policies that grow Wisconsin’s economy.  We need to focus on passing a responsible balanced budget, lowering the tax burden on middle class families, and continuing to promote more opportunities for job creation in our state.”
 
Tranel has been named Co-Chair of the State and Federal Relations Committee and will also serve on the Agriculture, Insurance, Family Law, and Campaigns and Elections Committees. The 49th Assembly District includes all of Grant County and parts of Richland, Iowa, and Lafayette Counties.
