On April 15th, Representative Travis Tranel along with his colleagues Rep. Novak, Rep. Oldenburg, Rep. Schraa, and Department of Corrections Secretary-Designee Carr toured the DOC facilities in Prairie du Chien and Boscobel.
“We had a very productive day discussing ways in which we can increase training opportunities in order to have more successful reintroductions into society,” said Tranel. “I am hopeful that in the future we can work together to reduce recidivism throughout the state of Wisconsin, which in the end is better for both inmates and taxpayers.”
