Rep. Tranel’s Statement on Wisconsin’s Budget Surplus

 
Madison – State Representative Travis Tranel (R-Cuba City) released the following statement regarding the Legislative Fiscal Bureau’s (LFB) projected state budget surplus of $911.9 million.
 
“Having a budget surplus of almost 1 billion dollars is very good for Wisconsin!
 
“It shows that responsible budgeting, reforming government and lowering the tax burden on the hard working families of our state leads to economic prosperity.
 
“I look forward to working with my legislative colleagues and Governor Walker on ways to further reduce the tax burden to help families and small business. 
 
“Working together we can continue to promote economic prosperity and help facilitate job growth.”
