Tranel Headlight Bill Passes Out of Transportation Committee

Yesterday, Rep. Tranel’s bill, AB 337, which would require the use of headlights on motor vehicles during times of adverse weather, passed out of the Assembly Transportation Committee 14-0.

“AB 337 passed out of committee with strong bipartisan support,” said Tranel.  “I am happy this common sense piece of legislation is one step closer to a vote before the full Assembly.”

The Senate companion bill, SB 249, authored by Senator Marklein received a public hearing on November 18, 2015.
