Rep. Tranel Votes to Support Veterans in Wisconsin

Today, Rep. Tranel (R-Cuba City) voted in favor of three bills, with bipartisan support, which continue the effort to ensure that the men and women who defend our nation’s freedom are a top priority in Wisconsin.

“Passing this legislation is a positive step towards making sure our veterans receive the benefits and quality health care they have earned through their sacrifice,” said Rep. Tranel.  “These opportunities are important for veterans and their families to support the transition back to civilian life.”

The legislation includes financial assistance to service members and their immediate family in times of hardship, priority college enrollment registration for returning veterans, and funding for active duty National Guard members to equalize travel expenses to what the Federal Government pays to an officer or enlisted member of equal rank.
