Representative Anderson Recognizes Officer Hannah Carlson as First Responder of the Year

MADISON, Wis - On October 14, the Wisconsin Assembly recognized dozens of firefighters, police, emergency medical technicians, and other first responders from across the state for contributions to their communities. In the 45th District, Officer Hannah Carlson of the Beloit Police Department was recognized as a First Responder of the Year. Representative Anderson offered the following statement.

“Officer Carlson is the exact type of public servant this recognition was designed for. I could only imagine the difficulty in making a water rescue at all, let alone in the middle of the night in the Rock River, and she answered the call with no hesitation. Officer Carlson is incredibly deserving of this honor, and I am sure her service will continue to inspire others for many years to come.”
