Nurturing Tree with Gov. Evers, Hispanic Heritage Month, and Black Dollar Days
In this e-update, I joined Gov. Evers at the Nurturing Tree Early Learning Academy, went to a Hispanic Heritage Month event, visited Black Dollar Days, attended the Just Desserts Volunteering event, and stopped by K’s Outback with Sully.
Nurturing Tree Early Learning Academy with Gov. Evers
This week I had the pleasure of visiting The Nurturing Tree Early Learning Academy with Governor Evers and Senator Spretizer. Childcare providers like Nurturing Tree are essential to Wisconsin. They don't need deregulation. They need Child Care Counts. I will continue to work with my Democratic colleagues to get them the funding they deserve.
Hispanic Heritage Month
Danielle and I had a lot of fun at the Hispanic Heritage Month event hosted by Hispanos Unidos Rompiendo Fronteras. It was great to see so many people there and I truly enjoy the all of the community building events held in the 45th.
Black Dollar Days
Last week I had the privilege of attending Black Dollar Days at New Zion Baptist Church. Thank you to the Concerned Black Citizens of Beloit, vendors, and other organizations that made this happen.
Just Desserts Volunteer Event
It was great to see so many volunteers recognized at the Just Desserts event in Evansville. Volunteers are essential to many organizations, and I truly appreciate the time they dedicate to improving our community.
Sully Sunday
This #SullySunday is at K’s Outback in Orfordville. A little known fact is that Sully loves pancakes and highly recommends K’s Outback as having some of the best in the 45th. If pancakes aren’t your thing, this fantastic local restaurant has other great options on their menu.
