Local Sports, NCSL, and Ag Tours
In this e-update, I attended several sporting events, went to the National Conference of State Legislatures, went on some agricultural tours, and kicked off a new school year at Beloit College with Sully.
Local Sports
I had the opportunity to check out the Beloit City Wide Youth Softball tournament and the US Kubb Open in Beloit recently. It’s great to see Beloit having such great events for both our kids and our community.
National Conference of State Legislatures
I went to an incredible conference this month in Indianapolis hosted by NCSL. I enjoyed being in a bipartisan space where policy, not politics, was the focus. We need more of this.
Committee on Agriculture Tours
Last week I toured a lavender farm, an agricultural manufacturing facility, and an Organic Valley farm with the Democratic members of the Assembly Committee on Agriculture. Wisconsin has a diverse agricultural economy. The more we work to protect it the stronger our state will be.
Sully Sunday
Classes for the fall semester started this week at Beloit College. Sully wanted to wish the students there the best of luck for this #SullySunday. Beloit College has a beautiful campus, and I'm proud to represent them in the legislature.
Representative Clinton Anderson
P.S. Do you have any issues that you would like to discuss with me? My first Coffee with Clinton meeting is tomorrow, September 1st, at K’s Outback in Orfordville from 9 to 11 AM and Java Lava Cafe in Monticello on September 22nd from 9 to 11 AM as well. I hope to see you there!
