Brewery Tour, Judge Janet, and the VP in Wisconsin

In this week's e-update, I visited the New Glarus Brewery with some of my fellow legislators, got to see Justice Janet Protasiewicz’s investiture, saw Vice President Kamala Harris in Kenosha, and Sully promoted Java Lava Café in Monticello.

New Glarus Brewery Tour
I was excited for the opportunity to join a bipartisan group of legislators in a tour of the New Glarus Brewery. I learned so much about the company’s dedication to Wisconsin and commitment to local product sourcing. It makes me proud to see others acknowledge the value of our great state. I’m happy to know that the 45th is so close to the 12th largest craft beer brewery in the country.

Judge Janet Protasiewicz's Investiture
I’m very happy that I was able to attend the ceremony for Justice Janet Protasiewicz’s investiture. It was a beautiful ceremony, and I am confident that her presence on the Wisconsin Supreme Court will result in progress that betters the lives of all Wisconsinites.

VP in Wisconsin
I am honored to have been able to see U.S. Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo, Vice President Kamala Harris, and of course Senator Tammy Baldwin earlier this month. Their work to secure a 1 billion dollar investment in broadband is both admirable and a huge win for our state. I’m always happy to see federal money working to improve the lives of Wisconsinites!

Coffee With Clinton
Do you have any issues that you would like to discuss with me? I am arranging some meetings at places in our district so I can have some face to face conversations with constituents like you. So far I am planning to be at K’s Outback in Orfordville on September 1st from 9 to 11 AM and Java Lava Café in Monticello on September 22nd from 9 to 11 AM as well. I look forward to hearing more about your thoughts and concerns.

Sully Sunday
Speaking of Java Lava Café, Sully got to enjoy the rich smell of some freshly brewed coffee when we visited The Java Lava Café in Monticello this Sunday. Their space is amazing: comfortable seating options, great coffee, and good atmosphere. A great way to put pep in my step and match Sully’s natural abundance of energy.
