Bill Package to Empower Communities, Businesses Tours with the Governor, Holiday Parade, and Sully

In this e-update, I joined in releasing a bill package to empower local communities, toured local businesses in Beloit with the Governor, saw the Downtown Beloit Grand Lighted Holiday Parade, and stopped by Foster’s Gaming & Collectibles with Sully.

Bill Package to Empower Local Communities
Last week, I joined legislative Democrats and local elected officials to introduce 15 bills which would empower local communities. We have seen numerous attacks on local government over the last decade. I'm thankful for my colleagues that are committed to giving autonomy back to local governments.

Local Businesses Tour in Beloit
It was great to see Governor Tony Evers in Beloit! State Senator Mark Spreitzer, Beloit City Council President Regina Dunkin, and City of Beloit staff joined the Governor on a tour of local businesses. We visited Bushel & Peck's Local Market, Tin Dog Records, Walnut Creek Apparel & Gifts, Flying Pig, and Nest Egg. Touring these local businesses is another reminder of how amazing Downtown Beloit is!

31st Annual Downtown Beloit Grand Lighted Holiday Parade
Danielle and I had a ton of fun at the 31st Annual Downtown Beloit Grand Lighted Holiday Parade. It is one of my favorite events of the year. The holiday season is officially here!

Sully Sunday
If you like nostalgia, Foster’s Gaming & Collectibles is the place for you. Sully wanted to let everyone know how cool this place is for this week's #SullySunday. If you have someone on your holiday shopping list who is a gamer or loves various collectibles, stop by Foster's Gaming & Collectibles in Brodhead!
