Ag Bill Package, Historical Society Maker Space, Evansville Fire District Lunch, Beloit College President, and Sully

In this e-update, I joined in releasing a bill package for Wisconsin’s agricultural community, visited the Wisconsin Historical Society’s Maker Space, attended Evansville Fire District’s Annual Spaghetti Lunch, congratulated a new Beloit College president, and stopped by Bagels & More of Beloit with Sully.

Ag Bill Package
Last week I joined Representative Dave Considine, Representative Katrina Shankland, and Senator Brad Pfaff in releasing a legislative bill package that provides more support for Wisconsin’s agricultural community. I have authored this legislation to create a value-added agricultural program that would allow farmers to increase product value through items such as salsa, jam, tea, or organic produce.

Wisconsin Historical Society Maker Space
This week I joined Senator Mark Spreitzer and Representative Jenna Jacobsen to see the Wisconsin Historical Society’s Maker’s Space and to discuss future plans. I am excited to see them complete their Wisconsin History Center.

Evansville Fire District Lunch
Last week I attended the Annual Spaghetti Lunch hosted by the Evansville Fire District. This event is for a great cause and the food was delicious too. It was great to see others showing their support.

Beloit College’s 12th President
Congratulations to Eric Boynton on becoming Beloit College's 12th President. It was great to see so many students, staff, and community members celebrate this historic moment!
