Madison…Today, Jon Plumer (R-Lodi) was administered the Oath of Office, officially becoming the Representative to the 42nd Assembly District. He released the following statement on the occasion.

“It’s an honor to be elected to represent the 42nd district and I’m excited to be in a position to help my constituents at the state level. I can’t wait to get started working on the issues affecting the district and the state.

“I want to make sure we find sustainable solutions for Wisconsin’s road funding, that our public schools continue to thrive, and that high quality, affordable healthcare remains a priority. Also, Wisconsin needs to continue to support rural communities through initiatives such as broadband grants and physician residency programs.

“Thank you to my wife Chris, my family and friends for their love and support. I’m proud to be a part of this community and I’m looking forward to serving my constituents with professionalism and honor.”

Representative Plumer went on to thank Fr. Scott Jablonski from Blessed Trinity Parish in Lodi for giving the invocation and first degree black belt student Hayden Johnson, of Lodi, for leading the Pledge of Allegiance during the swearing-in ceremony.
