Tackling our Housing Shortage

This week, I joined several of my Assembly colleagues in a press conference to announce a bill package that will work to address the workforce housing shortage in Wisconsin.

As I talk with citizens, contractors, and business owners from around my district, I have been made aware of the extreme shortage of workforce housing. Housing availability plays a major role in having residents move into our local communities.

The bills in this package will help to alleviate this shortage and will create a better environment for our local businesses, schools, and local economies to succeed.

Sporting Freedom Package

This week a package of bills were introduced to promote policy reforms that will defend the hunt, allow greater opportunities for hunters and anglers, protect our rights and make it easier to enjoy our God-given natural resources. 

Wisconsin has a rich history of hunting, fishing, and outdoor recreation, and I am happy to be one of the leaders of a package of thirteen bills that will help carry on our State’s sporting heritage legacy. These bills were introduced to promote policy reforms that will defend the hunt, allow greater opportunities for hunters and anglers, protect our constitutional rights and make it easier for everyone to have access to our natural resources. Convention of States

I am in favor of convening a Convention of States. We were happy to welcome Senator Rick Santorum to the Capitol last week to continue our push towards reigning in the federal government.
