Representative Dallman Meets with Local Agricultural Leaders
Madison, WI – Representative Alex Dallman (R-Green Lake) met with Green Lake County Farm Bureau and Marquette County Farm Bureau members on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 to discuss issues affecting agriculture in the State of Wisconsin. There was significant participation from local Wisconsin Farm Bureau members who met with Rep. Dallman in the Capitol as part of Wisconsin Farm Bureau’s Annual Ag Day at the Capitol event.
Discussion included issues related to local transportation, animal health and disease prevention, workforce challenges, food distribution, farmer-led conservation efforts, access to mental health resources, rural prosperity, and other legislative priorities for the 2023-2025 biennial budget.
“Thank you to the members of the Green Lake and Marquette County Farm Bureaus for meeting with me in the Capitol about the unique challenges they are facing” Rep. Dallman said. “Wisconsin’s agricultural industry must continue to be strengthened, and I appreciate constituents from the 41st Assembly District making time to travel down to Madison to educate me about how the legislature can best support their businesses.”
