Welcome to my e-update

Hello, my name is Representative Alex Dallman and here you will find the latest news that is going on in our beautiful state Capitol building. I look forward to working with many of my constituents over the next couple of years.

Education Funding Press Conference

In continuing to fight for our kids and rural educators, I was more than happy to stand alongside my Assembly colleagues in urging the Governor to prioritize any new federal funding to districts who have been providing in-person education. Our rural schools still have the lights on, the buses running, and are providing a cleaner and safer environment for their employees and students. Milwaukee and Madison, on the other hand, have not been and are already receiving large sums of federal taxpayer dollars.

Budget Listening Sessions

I will be holding budget listening sessions across the district in the coming weeks. This will provide an opportunity for constituents to ask questions or provide any feedback about Governor Evers budget proposal. Please keep an eye out for dates and locations in my upcoming E-updates, Facebook page or my legislative website.

Timbavati Wildlife Park Tour

On Thursday, I had the wonderful opportunity to travel throughout the district and tour Timbavati Wildlife Park in the Wisconsin Dells. I was amazed to see that this park has over 400 animals and represents over 70 different species. This park provides numerous educational opportunities for kids and adults alike! The park opens back up to the public on May 1, 2021.

Skeletal Session

Last week on Thursday, February 25th, I had the honor to serve as the Majority Leader for a brief floor session with Representative Michael Schraa in as Speaker.
