Budget Signed by the Governor

On Thursday, Governor Evers passed the 2021-2023 biennial budget proposed by Republican legislators. If it were up to Governor Evers, he would have signed a budget that increased taxes, expanded welfare, and repealed successful conservative reforms.

Thankfully, Republicans prioritized the needs of Wisconsinites, forcing the Governor to sign a responsible budget that makes major investments in our constituents' priorities, while also sending money back to taxpayers. 

Nonetheless, I am proud we were all able to come together and sign this budget into effect. We stayed devoted to our beliefs and followed through on our promises.

Badger Mining Corporation Tour

This week in Berlin, I learned a lot about Badger Mining Corporation and their work happening in the 41st District and around the country. 

Expanding Broadband

Lack of adequate rural broadband in our villages, cities, and towns, is contributing to our businesses and families being left behind. This video below highlights the issue from constituents living in the 41st District.

As this is one of the main issues I have been fighting for, I am happy to say that the budget includes important funding for broadband expansion.
