Madison Phone Lines Interrupted

Madison … Representative Jeff Mursau (R–Crivitz) has been notified that State Capitol telephone service was interrupted on Monday when nearby lines were damaged.

“Service may not be regained for as long as three weeks, but citizens need to know they can still reach me,” Mursau said. “When people call, they will hear a ring, but I won’t hear it. Rest assured though, that I can still remotely retrieve my voicemail and I encourage people to leave a message and I’ll call them back as soon as I can.”

Capitol technology is still working, though, and Mursau continues to receive Email and Internet communication.

“As soon as the lines are restored, I’ll make sure to notify local media outlets so they can pass on the information to their viewers, listeners, and readers.”
