2025 First Responder Recognition Program
Nomination
We are now accepting nominations for the 2025 First Responder of the Year for Assembly District 36. Nominees must be first responders; such as police officers, sheriff’s deputies, jailers, dispatchers, firefighters, or EMS personnel (including paramedics, EMTs, and volunteer first responders)—who serve in a town, village, city, or county within Assembly District 36. You may nominate someone based on a variety of criteria, including a specific act of heroism, a significant professional achievement, a long-standing record of service, or their overall contributions to the community. The selected honoree will be invited to Madison in October to participate in a special recognition ceremony.
