Happy Thanksgiving

I would like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! Despite the current political rhetoric, I truly believe that we as Americans have more that unites us than divides us. I am thankful to live in a country that allows us to pursue our own destiny and live in freedom. I am thankful to be surrounded by great friends and family this holiday season. And I am thankful to be able to serve the people of the Northwoods.

Tour of Camp Randall Stadium

As a member of the Wisconsin State Building Commission and the Higher Education Subcommittee, I was invited to tour Camp Randall stadium. The Building Commission is tasked with approving all state and UW system building projects. Camp Randall is scheduled for a major renovation starting November 2020. I had the opportunity to speak with UW Athletic Director Barry Alvarez about the project and am excited to see the renovations move forward. Legislation to Advance Telehealth Signed into Law

I am happy to see Senate Bill 380, which I voted in favor of on the Assembly floor, signed into law. The bill allows Medicaid to cover Telehealth services which lets patients receive care directly in the comfort of their own homes or other nonclinical settings. Telehealth is an exciting new avenue for healthcare and is a great option available for folks in rural areas.
