Rep. Cody Horlacher Votes to Support K-9 Veterans and Red Tape Review
Madison, WI—The Assembly took action on a variety of efforts supported by Rep. Horlacher (R-Mukwonago) yesterday. Rep. Horlacher was pleased at the passage of Assembly Joint Resolution 4, honoring the service of all military working dogs, a resolution that he introduced. “I am glad to see the support for designating March 13th K-9 Veterans Day, it is important that we recognize the dedication and loyalty that our service dogs in the military and in the public provide us every day,” said Rep. Horlacher.
Rep. Horlacher also voted to support Assembly Bill 80, allowing government agencies to update administrative rules more quickly and efficiently, which is part of the Republican Assembly’s regulatory reform project called “Red Tap Review”. Rep. Horlacher stated, “I am proud to support this project aimed at streamlining governmental operations and updating burdensome administrative rules.”
The Assembly also passed AB 27, returning Wisconsin to its traditional speed limit of 70 mph on rural highways, and AB 56, promoting transparency to help improve high school education in Wisconsin.
