Wisconsin Becomes 25th State to Support Worker Freedom
Madison, WI—Representative Cody Horlacher (R-Mukwonago) voted to support worker freedom by approving the right-to-work bill (SB 44) in the Assembly.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to support Wisconsin worker freedom in casting my vote for this bill. The most important piece of this bill is the protection of individual freedom to make a choice about their membership in an organization,” said Rep. Horlacher.
“I believe that many individuals in my district and across the state will choose to continue their membership in their organizations, but now it’s their choice to do so,” continued Rep. Horlacher.
It has been shown that right-to-work states outperform forced union states in economic growth and personal wage growth.
“This bill will help to attract new businesses and opportunities for the families of Wisconsin,” said Rep. Horlacher, “This is another step to help move Wisconsin forward.”
The bill will now move to Governor Walker for his signature.
