Rep. Cody Horlacher Sworn-In for Second Term
Appointed to lead new committee
Madison… Sworn-in to his second term in the State Assembly, Rep. Cody Horlacher (R-Mukwonago) took the oath of office with his colleagues in the Assembly chambers Tuesday afternoon. Rep. Horlacher is eager to continue working on behalf of the people of the 33rd Assembly District.
“We made a lot of progress improving Wisconsin last session, but there is still work to be done for the people of the 33rd District. I look forward to getting back to work” said Rep. Horlacher.
Rep. Horlacher is the Chairman of the Assembly Committee on Regulatory Licensing Reform and he will continue serving as Vice-Chair of the Judiciary Committee. Additionally, he serves as a member of the committees on Agriculture, Campaigns and Elections, and Criminal Justice and Public Safety.
“I am thrilled to be chairing the new committee to examine regulatory licensing in our state” said Rep. Horlacher. “I look forward to hearing the ideas of stakeholders from across Wisconsin’s industries and my fellow members.”
Rep. Horlacher was joined at the inaugural ceremony by his mother Patricia, as well as his fiancé Karlee.
The 33rd Assembly District lies in Jefferson, Walworth and Waukesha counties including the communities of Eagle, Fort Atkinson, Jefferson, Mukwonago, Palmyra, and Sullivan.
