February Polish American Trade Mission

This past weekend I was honored to help host a return visit of Polish dignitaries to Wisconsin following our successful Trade Mission to Poland last fall. We are continuing to build collaborations with Poland and our state with this trip focusing on medical innovation and technology.

Stay up to date on everything happening in the Capitol and the district by following and liking my page on Facebook. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to check out my website, or contact my office directly with any of your concerns.

Legislative Update
With session beginning, our office is running full steam ahead! We are happy to be introducing multiple bills that will help Wisconsinites across the state.

Health Directives Toolkit
Introduced at the end of last week, this bill will establish an Advanced Directives Registry. Partnered with the Department of Health Services and the Medical Society, this piece of legislation aims to streamline patient care.

Pro Bono DAs
A bill I re-introduced this week, with strong bi-partisan support, will give district attorneys, deputy district attorneys, and assistant district attorneys across Wisconsin the ability to privately provide legal services pro bono should they choose.

OWI
A bill I introduced a few weeks ago which establishes an absolute sobriety requirement for the purpose of operating a snowmobile for any person under 21, will be having a public hearing next month. I am hopeful this bi-partisan legislation will be passed to protect families during this winter season.
Constituent Update
Over the past few weeks, I have had the opportunity to meet with many constituents from across the district both here in my office in Madison and throughout the communities that they live and work in. Below you'll see a few pictures highlighting some of these events.
