Rep. Loudenbeck Statement on State of the State
Madison – State Representative Amy Loudenbeck (R-Clinton) issued the following statement after Governor Walker’s State of the State address Tuesday night:
“The Wisconsin comeback is real. Labor statistics are very strong, with more people working now than in the last 20 years. Wisconsin student achievement, including high school graduation rates and ACT scores, is among the best in the nation.
“I welcome Governor Walker’s commitment to preparing for Wisconsin’s future. Assembly Republicans are currently contemplating initiatives to address challenges such as opioid addiction, Alzheimer’s and dementia, college affordability, workforce readiness, and lean government. These challenges affect many Wisconsin families and it is important for us to be thoughtful and inclusive when crafting public policy. I am pleased to see the Governor will be visiting communities throughout Wisconsin during his upcoming listening sessions.”
