The public health emergency is a great reason to exercise your right to vote early instead of standing in line at your polling place on April 7th.  Early in-person voting is still available in most cities, towns and villages in the 26th Assembly District.  To my knowledge (and don't be afraid to call and ask your local clerk to be certain):

City of Sheboygan: city clerk's office is open daily for in-person early voting from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.  Last day for early voting is Friday, April 3; early voting will be allowed until 5:00 PM that day.

City of Sheboygan Falls: city clerk's office is open daily 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.  Last day for early voting is Friday, April 3.

Village of Adell: CLOSED ON FRIDAYS.  In-person early voting available during normal business hours of 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM; last day for early voting is TOMORROW, April 2, prior to 1:00 PM.

Village of Oostburg: clerk's office is open for walk-in early voters during normal business hours of 8:00 AM to noon and 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM daily.  Last day for early voting is Friday, April 3.

Village of Random Lake: clerk's office is open for early voting daily from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.  Last day for early voting is Friday, April 3.

Village of Cedar Grove: office is closed to the general public, but early voting is still available by appointment.  Call (920) 668-6523.

Town of Lima: early voting is available by appointment only.  Call (920) 467-6037.

Town of Holland: early voting is available by appointment only.  Call (920) 668-6625.

Town of Sherman: regular office hours are limited; early voting may be available by appointment.  Call (920) 994-9421.

Town of Wilson: CLOSED ON FRIDAYS.  In-person early voting available during normal business hours of 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM; last day for early voting is TOMORROW, April 2, prior to 4:00 PM.

At this time, all Wisconsin polling places will be open for regular in-person voting on April 7.  But nearly all of them desperately need some additional manpower to be able to complete their duties.  (Poll workers get paid!  They're also allowed to decline pay if they wish.  Read all about the job here.)  My aide Nick will be volunteering in his community on Election Day; I urge you, if you're healthy and at low risk of illness, to consider serving also.  To sign up, use this tool to contact your local clerk; put "Poll Worker Applicant" in the subject line of your e-mail.

Finally, there is still just a little time left to request that an absentee ballot be mailed to you if you'd rather not (or cannot) leave home at all.  Use this tool to request a ballot.  But for this option, there's not a minute to lose; your completed ballot has to be received in your clerk's office by the end of Election Night to count.

Stay safe... and don't let this health emergency stop you from exercising your rights!
