Remember the Fallen

This week, I along with Rep. Glenn Grothman, Rep. Shae Sortwell, and many others, gathered to read aloud and commemorate all those lives lost in Afghanistan. The names were read in chronological order of passing from 2001 to 2021. Thank you to the brave men and women.

A special thank you to Ryan Braumstedt of Seehafer News for his special service, and organizing this special event.

Never Forget

This weekend, we mourn the thousands of American lives lost on the somber day 20 years ago. There isn't enough appreciation to give for the first responders and the extraordinary bravery they showed in saving victims of the September 11th attacks. May we also remember the many Americans who answered the call of duty by enlisting as a response to the September 11th attacks.

Assembly Committee on Housing & Real Estate

This week, I testified before the Assembly Committee on Housing & Real Estate on AB 340, my real estate appraisals bill. As many are aware, many professions have statutes of limitations. Real Estate appraisers can be sued on appraisals from decades ago, even though witnesses may have faded memories or even passed away. Several other states have implemented similar statutes of limitations for the profession. The limitation period created in the bill does not apply to a real estate appraiser who commits fraud or concealment in the performance of real estate appraisal services. Thanks to the experts, Kevin and Andrew, for making the trip to Madison to testify.

County Fair Listening Sessions

Thanks to those that stopped. I appreciated hearing all of the thoughts and concerns of those that stopped by the county booth.  It is a pleasure and honor to serve you. If you did not make it, feel free to email me with your input.

“I treasure these listening sessions,” said Rep. Tittl, “Because they give constituents an opportunity to share their thoughts, their problems or their experiences with state and government agencies.” He added, “They are a time for me to listen to their concerns rather than debate."

Back to School at the Fair

It was great giving out school supplies at the Manitowoc County Fair. Kids recited the Pledge of Allegiance, in exchange they got to pick out a school supply. I was happy to see all of the kids reciting the pledge loud and proud!

Draw Your District

Typically, Census data is received every 10 years, in spring.  Unfortunately, the data was delayed for many months and was just released to Wisconsin. New data requires district boundaries to be adjusted to account for population changes. Any Wisconsin resident can now submit their input by visiting: DrawYourDistrictWisconsin.com . You can now submit your entry from September 1st through October 15th, 2021.
