Hello,

This week, students from University of Wisconsin Green Bay - Manitowoc came to the Capitol to show us the the work they have done in researching the water quality in our local creeks and rivers.  Our local bodies of water play a valuable part in our communities and it is important that we keep them healthy for everybody to enjoy.

I always appreciate the opportunity to listen to all of the amazing things our young people are doing in our own local areas. I was very impressed with the hard work these students are doing, and I am sure they will do some wonderful things in the future for our state.

It's Great to See You!

On Thursdsay, folks from the National Association of Social Workers stopped by for a visit. We had the chance to talk about the different ways we can combat suicide in our state.

Speaking at the Armenian Genocide Commemoration

On Tuesday, I had the wonderful opportunity to speak at the Armenian Genocide Commemoration at the Capitol. In my speech, I talked about the need make sure that tragedies like this one never happen again and I brought to light the harm done to other groups in the world, including the persecutions of Christians done in the Middle East today.

Sincerely,
