UW-Green Bay Students Present Research in the Capitol Rotunda

IMG_2763.jpgUW-Green Bay students, Kyle Deacy, Makenna Ricker, and Olivia Claybrook, and Professor Richard Hein
UW students from around the state came to Madison for Research in the Rotunda. It was great to speak with them and hear about their hard work both in and out of the classroom.

I often say the best ideas don't come from legislators sitting around the Capitol. They come from people around the state. The students and their research are a great example. More information

After 25 Years of Waiting, Calumet County Will Get Another Judge

The Director of State Courts has announced that Calumet County will get an additional circuit court judge.

This news is especially exciting for me, because I have been working on this issue since the day I took office. I'm very pleased the long wait for the people of Calumet County is over.

On Wednesday we held a press conference at the courthouse to discuss the the announcement.

You may listen to the press conference here
