Watch my Video from my Recent In-District Day!

Hello,

This fall, I had an In-District Day in the 25th Assembly District. This is a time when I travel around my district, listening to my constituents and hearing from the people that make a positive impact in our local community. Click on the picture above to watch my video!

Later in the day, I held several listening sessions in my district. These are wonderful opportunities for me to be able to listen to the concerns of the people of the 25th Assembly District. I jointly hosted these sessions with State Senator Devin LeMahieu at the Chilton Public Library and the Manitowoc City Hall.

Together, we heard directly from you. Several issues that were brought up were infrastructure repair, education funding, and gun control.

Lastly, I visited the New Hope Center in Chilton. New Hope is a fantastic organization that works with the disabled to find meaningful employment in our local community. While visiting, I spoke with their CEO about their mission and observed some of the work they do.

Supporting Your Tax Cut

022020 Assembly Session #55(resize).jpg

Last week on the floor of Wisconsin State Assembly, I made the case for why the assembly should pass a proposed bill that would cut taxes for middle class families in Wisconsin.

When politicians talk about spending more money, they often forget where this money is coming from. This money comes from the people of Wisconsin, and that is why I supported this tax cut.

The bill subsequently passed with bipartisan support. However, Governor Evers vetoed it this week.

Stay Tuned for my next round of Listening Sessions...

On March 16th, I will be hosting my next round of listening sessions with Sen. LeMahieu in the 25th Assembly District. We will be announcing locations and times next week. Stay tuned!

Do you know a service member currently serving overseas from our area?

If you know someone from our area in the service who is serving overseas, please email us their name, address in the local area, and where they are stationed at and in what country. I am currently working on a proposal with several of my colleagues in the Assembly, and would like to see who from my district is currently serving overseas.
