Greetings from Madison & Happy 2021!

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and a happy and healthy start to the New Year. I am very excited to have taken the oath of office and to be serving the people of the 25th Assembly District again. It is an honor to participate in this ceremony and sign the book of legislators again this year. The book has been signed by every Wisconsin representative since 1848 and is only brought out from the Wisconsin Historical Society every 2 years. Although it was a bit unusual without family in attendance, it is an honor to be re-elected.

With that being said, I'd like to detail a few of my goals going forward for the 105th legislative session. As many are beyond happy to put 2020 to rest, it will shape much of my 2021-2022 session agenda. Other items on the agenda include, reforming the election process, and passing a fiscally responsible budget that prioritizes healthcare and education.

We must help Wisconsin families, as COVID-19 has impacted the state in endless ways. Many industries and small businesses have taken and continue facing hardship due to the pandemic. It is of the utmost importance that we pass fiscally responsible bills to help our families and companies, but doing so in a financially responsible manner. With that being said, I think it is crucial to hold our heads high as my colleagues and I are determined to boost Wisconsin up.

This Session:

Rep. Tittl is one of 60 Assembly Republicans in the 2021-2022 legislative session. He is serving as the Chairman on the Committee on Mental Health, Vice Chairman on the Committee on Sporting and Heritage, and Committees on Corrections, Forestry, Parks, and Outdoor Recreation, Jobs and the Economy, Tourism, and Veterans.

As information regarding committee hearings becomes available, my office will share up-to-date information. Please feel free to reach out with your support, concerns, and questions relating to all legislation.

This week in the Assembly:

The new COVID relief bill is headed to the Senate. Thursday afternoon, the Assembly passed Assembly Bill 1 in a vote of 56 to 34.

What’s in the bill?
