Hello,

This week at the Capitol was Ag Day, a day when farmers from all around Wisconsin come to Madison to meet with their elected officials.

We discussed several bills and legislative priorities for this session that can really give Wisconsin's farmers they need. Some of the bills we talked about were AB 524 and my bill own bill, AB 631.

Thank you for visiting. I love taking the time to visit with those who help provide the food we need to eat. Please visit again soon!

 Testifying for the Eyeglasses Bill

On Tuesday I testified in support of my bill AB 593 that establishes a liability exemption for non-profit service groups for damages arising out of providing previously owned eyeglasses. Groups like the Lions Club collect thousands of used eye-glasses every year and distributes them to countries overseas, but can't give them to kids in need here in Wisconsin out of fear they could be sued.

Visiting with Ducks Unlimited

This week the group Ducks Unlimited visited the Capitol to share an update with us on their programs around the state. Duck hunting is one of my favorite past times, and I look forward to hearing what this great group is working on every year.
