Hello,
Recently, I flew to Japan with a delegation made up of business and political leaders from around the United States. The point of the trip was to meet with some of our Japanese counterparts and discuss ways our two nations can continue to work together successfully.
Some of the officials that we met with actually do business right here in Wisconsin. Above is a picture where I am handing a key to the city of Manitowoc to Dr. Asahi Matsyama, who is involved in the Kikkoman company. Kikkoman has a facility in Walworth, WI where they employ 200 workers who produce more brewed soy sauce than any other facility in the world. Kikkoman was also the first Japanease owned production facility in the United States when they got started in 1972.
Here I am giving a key to Manitowoc to Omi Asako, Parlimentary Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs and a member of the House of Representatives.

Presenting another key to Ichiro Sone, Executive Vice-President of JETRO, or Japan External Trade Organization.
Here is Hiroyuki Fujita, Chief Resilience Officer for the city of Kyoto.
