Thank you!

Hello,
During election years state law prohibits legislators who are seeking re-election from sending E-updates. However, now the election is over, that restriction is lifted, and I am able to continue sending weekly E-updates.
I’d like to start by expressing a big THANK YOU. It’s an honor to serve you, and I am grateful for the trust you have placed in me to continue representing you in Madison.
I am looking forward to getting back to the assembly floor as soon as possible. Normally, the state legislature does not return to session until January when the new legislators take office. However, I am ready to begin whenever a floor period is called.
Certainly, the Coronavirus situation and unemployment issues continue to generate much discussion. Thanks for sending me your thoughts on both and your need for help in getting your unemployment benefits. Thanks too for letting me know your thoughts on various matters and legislative concerns in the days ahead.
Although the Capitol is not currently open for visitors, you can contact me by email or phone. I appreciate hearing from you, because the best ideas don’t come from people sitting around a table in Madison. They come from you.
I would appreciate hearing any ideas you might have about what we can do to make our communities and state a better place.
In addition, if there is anything I can do to assist you, please let me know. I look forward to hearing from you and, as always, working for you.
