Meeting with the President of Lakeshore Technical College!

IMG_5248(resize).jpg

 Hello,

I recently had the pleasure of meeting with Dr. Paul Carlsen, the President of Lakeshore Technical College, at their new campus in downtown Manitowoc. Some topics that came up in our discussion included teaching mental health in LTC's medical programs and how to better train students for the workforce. Their new campus looks great!

LTC is a fantastic school that can help you accomplish a wide array of accomplishments, including completing courses before transferring to a university, completing a GED, or getting a workforce-certificate. Did you know LTC was recently named the #2 two-year college in the country by the Washington Monthly?

Above I am with my colleagues hearing a bill in the Assembly Consumer Protection Committee that would save local car dealerships added costs.

Pictured above I am testifying on one of my bills that would update the Wisconsin psychology statute, which hasn't been updated since 1994.

The 2019-2020 State of Wisconsin Blue Book is now available. It's published biennially by the nonpartisan Legislative Reference Bureau. The Blue Book is a valuable source of information on state government, the legislative process and the history of our state. The featured article in the book is called: A HERO'S WELCOME, How the 1919 Wisconsin Legislature overcame divisions to enact innovative veterans legislation following World War I. If you would like a copy of the Wisconsin Blue Book to be sent to you, please contact my office at Rep.Tittl@legis.wisconsin.gov. You can view the book online at https://legis.wisconsin.gov/lrb/blue-book/.
