Apologies for the belated arrival of my E-Update. The Legislative Technology Service Bureau worked very hard to fix our e-update system, which took several days to resolve the issue. I appreciate your patience.
This week in the Assembly:
This week, I met with the Calumet County CAP and other local and state leaders via video conference to discuss the CAP Team. The meeting was informative and had a great outcome. Here are the topics that we discussed.
Local News:
Money Allocated to the Bay Pointe Recreation Trail
This week the Joint Committee on Finance reviewed and accepted the DNR's request, granting $369,400 from the Knowles- Nelson Stewardship program to develop the Bay Pointe Recreation Trail, located in the City of Manitowoc.
This week, I also met with constituents, Rick and Paulette. It is always a pleasure to see my constituents.
COVID Update
Last week, the Department of Health Services announced that those over the age of 65 will be eligible to begin receiving the vaccine on January 25.
For those that wish to receive the vaccine, fill out this form. Manitowoc County will then contact you when you become eligible to receive the vaccination.
As a reminder, we encourage you to follow the representative on social media, including Facebook, and Twitter, for all of the up-to-date information on important issues. His legislative website can be found at: https://legis.wisconsin.gov/assembly/25/tittl.
