My wife, Julie, and I are wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a happy holidays. I hope your holiday season is joyful and memorable as you spend time with family and celebrate the birth of Jesus.

No Plans? No Problem!

Christmas Cookie Baking
In preparation for the Christmas dinner, I got together with friends from my church to bake cookies. We baked over 1,100 cookies in three hours! Of course, we had to taste test them. Quality control is no easy job. We are confident you would approve!

CMS School Visit
I visited Chilton Middle School to take a tour and speak with administrators earlier this week. Students and faculty alike had a lot of Christmas spirit! I was grateful for my tour guides, Cami and Patrick. They did a great job showing me around the school.
Wisconsin provides quality education for students all the way from kindergarten through post-secondary education. I am always eager to support those dedicated to bettering schools and improving the educational experience for Wisconsin's children.

Governor Walker's Holiday Reception
Last Thursday, Julie and I attended the Governor's holiday reception at the Wisconsin Executive Residence. The residence is beautifully decorated, with many different trees adorning its rooms. Two of Julie's favorite trees are pictured to the right, and a picture of the lawn is below. It was an incredible experience, and we look forward to it every year.

- The 15th annual Wisconsin Governor's Business Plan Contest is now accepting applications online for 2018. Submit your entry before Jan. 31st.
- December is National Safe Toys and Gifts Month. Take time this month to find safe, thoughtful gifts for those you love.
- December is also National Impaired Driving Prevention Month. Drunk, drugged, and distracted driving is a real threat to our community. Make good choices this holiday season.
- Governor Walker is looking for a non-traditional student representative for the UW-System Board of Regents. Apply here before Jan. 5th.

- The 1st annual Delightfully Chilton holiday light show is happening on Fridays and Saturdays throughout Dec.
