Study Committee Concludes

Study Committee Crop.jpg

Hello,

I hope you and your family had a delightful holiday! Today I attended the final meeting for the Study Committee on Minor Guardianships. It became apparent while meeting with my constituents there is a need to clarify and improve guardianship statutes. After the event I held in May (In the Best Interest of the Child), it is encouraging to see legislation produced to better protect the innocents.

You can find a copy of the bill and the amendment we passed today here and here. This is another great example of constituent-led legislation. When you contact your state representatives, you can influence the future of our great state. The opioid epidemic is having a ravaging effect on our communities and more specifically, our children. We need to protect the youth and provide opportunities for a brighter future.

If there is anything I can do to assist you, please contact me. You can share your thoughts, find out additional information on issues, or see where I stand on any legislation. I look forward to hearing from you and, as always, working for you.

Sincerely,

Signature 200.jpg

Representative Paul Tittl
