Coming Together for Committee

  JE 450.jpg

Hello,

This week was packed with committee meetings.  We had public hearings and executive session on many bills. In committee, we have an opportunity to learn more about the legislation, tweak it to best serve Wisconsinites, and then vote on it before it goes to the full Assembly.

The bills we covered this week include:

There are two session dates coming up for the full Assembly: Nov. 2nd and 9th. It is rewarding for me as a legislator to see bills navigate their way through the legislative process. Again, let me know any questions or concerns you have about the legislation we are working on.

Sincerely,

Representative Paul Tittl

The Committee on Consumer Protection meeting, occurred on Tuesday, Oct. 24th. We heard testimony on AB 507, often referred to as the "Lemonade Stand Bill." This legislation would allow minors to legally sell goods (like lemonade) on private property without obtaining a permit.

I would like to thank the representatives from Calumet County that came down to the capitol for the Wisconsin Counties Association's County Ambassador Program on Wednesday, Oct. 25th.
